silver voiced poet / sung of war

Summon we now this / rousing smith

Reward her well for / wisdom great

Green leaves given to / great lady

Laurel earned.

 

Written in an Irish style using half lines and a set beat pattern. Each line, save the last in each verse, has 8 beats with three beats in the second half line following the stressed, unstressed, stressed pattern.
